Our planet. Humans linked into an amazing network of their own creation. And they felt their Creator looked upon the technology as a very good thing. They had seen movies with evil robots and negative artificial intelligences, and feared the winds of change among their own people. But this was progress... and a great wave of future things to come. The mind proved to be a limitless dimension of their own device... giving way to peace and harmony worldwide. Through this innovation, famine and illness were abolished. Hatred amongst them torn asunder. There was room for the individual as well as the collective. They feared their very identity would be robbed from them like a thief in the night. But in finding themselves and that which Created them, in embracing science rather than fearing the shift... they found their greatest triumph.
People worried about the endtimes... a struggle between Good and Evil, but they had met the enemy, and it was themselves. They eventually learned that there is no light without darkness to contrast, and that freedom is immenently possible. Freedom from the chains and shackles of their own fears and hatred. Freedom from dreams and revelations of destruction and demise. These were a people, these people of Earth, that were destined to reach a higher glory. If it were to be their choosing. Their Creator always gave them all the choice to do with Creation whateverso they desired. Such was the love that was invested, not infested, within these beautiful replicas of divinity and infinity.
There was a great shift of consciousness and awareness. It struck as lightning does, and echoed through the mansions of time. The thunder rolled and the ground shook, yet they remained strong in the time of their greatest need. For this need would bring to seed much glory and boundless possibility. And the fruit from the tree of knowledge proved to be delicious and spiritually savory. Their eyes were opened to a new light that shined upon them as a beacon unto the whole universe. And the Creator delighted in the marvel of imagination unleashed.
They had mastered the art of changing their apprehension into great reservoirs of thought. Standing proudly as a people unblemished by the cruel trappings of avarice and jealousy, they sped through a virtual playground of their own heaven made on Earth. They controlled amazing frontiers of cyberspace... and the Universe watched on in awe of their majesty. They had saved themselves from themselves.
But this did not come without its' price. There was war, and there had been war before... there was corruption, and dirty political matters. There was a period of lamentation... and not all people's designs were radiant. But eventually, and through the grace of God...
They eventually found the angel within themselves they had so long awaited.
Then they journeyed, after a long great while, into the unknown... the most mysterious reaches of space beyond them. Humans began to link with other cultures more ancient than their own, and saw the macro and micro cosms through which the Creator vibrates the most holy energy of all. All that Is.
The people of Earth thought less of possessiveness... and returned to the tribal ways from which they were spawned. As tradition was before, their possessions became shared and not owned.
Metropolis gave way to Community, and the lifestyle was likened to that of villages and smaller townships. They, after a long time it seemed, raised children among all of the members of their tribe. Their stuff became the stuff of all of them. People were entrusted to duties and loved all their jobs. And the garbageman was no lesser than the doctor, for all had its' perfect place in the scheme of things.
The hiarchy of objects dissolved, as well as the arrogance of title. And children were raised by a responsible Community of love and friendship.
They prayed to the flora and fauna that shared the planet with them. For this Planet has a soul as well. And Mother Nature calmed in tune with their joy in themselves. The desolation they envisioned once, now hummed with the frequency of the boundless. There was prismatic electric light that shone into their very souls, and reverberated through the Cosmos. With this, lies began to crumble beneath their understanding of the Family. The cells within the body of God rushed freely towards a brilliant destiny.

Brainstorming the Book

Savage Monkey Rock - Topics

SCIENCE
1. I eternally owe them my greatest respect and love. I'm grateful for the lessons I have learned in my days in my somewhat lonely apartment in Oregon City... and have learned much in these last three years. You all have helped me better shape the person I am, and who I want to be. Thank you. You mean the world to me, especially my mother and father who have seen me through all my trials and tribulations.

Secondly, what I have to do now is really visualize what I want the message of my book to be. I'm going to create "story board" collages of some of the things I want to materialize in Savage Monkey Rock so I'll have a better idea of where I am going with it. I also am making a success collage tonight so that I can ponder all the great things that my writing could unfold if the book is indeed a success <and>. If not, the process alone will be worth the adventure! Albert Einstein said, "Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions." Well, here's hoping my imagination sparks you, the reader!

Last, but certainly not least, I have to go about the actual task of writing a book that I'm envisioning will cover many social issues. Not everyone is nescessarily going to like my work, so I have to prepare myself for that, since I tend to be touchy about criticism sometimes... something that springs from me being my harshest critic. This is going to require countless hours of research online, which is a daunting task I've put off for countless years, but no longer. I'm finally ready to put my ideas to print.

So I hope my readers enjoy watching my process unfold and read how I go through the process of creating the book, as well as the joy of following it through to completion. I'm beginning to see how the process at least half the fun of ultimately writing it. And again, I've been blessed with the best family and friends I could hope for. I will never forget how supportive everyone has been of me. Now I intend to put some things into motion that I've been meaning to for a long time.... on Sunday, September 3rd, 2006... at 4:30 in the morning.....

Thanks for reading along and enjoying the fun of this with me!

Very truly yours,

Justin

Excitement

I just discovered Blogger and I am very excited at the prospect of sharing my thoughts and feelings with whomever decides to read them. It is a great opportunity for me as a writer to get some feedback as well, so please don't hesitate in giving me some constructive cricism. I'm new to publishing things online, so it might take me awhile to really get established into it. I will try to stay focused on this new online journal as much as I can, as I move forward in becoming a better writer. I'm writing a book called Savage Monkey Rock... but it will take alot of time to research it... develop it... and consequentially hone my craft in the process. So I wanted to invite you, the reader, into my process of development. My whole life has been such a blessing to me, and I want to express it online. So, I thank you for your time... and I'll get busy on the book. :)
